Summary: Color problem with %= (hfill) Project: GNU Screen Submitted by: None Submitted on: Wed 30 Apr 2014 03:09:17 PM UTC Category: User Interface Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: None Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Work Required: None _______________________________________________________ Details: After updating my screen (on arch linux, screen --version: Screen version 4.02.01 (GNU) 28-Apr-14) the hardstatus doesn't work as expected. The color between two %= is broken, it doesn't colorize the characters correctly or not at all. my hardstatus line in the configuration: hardstatus string '%{= kG}[ %{G}%H %{g}][%= %{= kw}%?%-Lw%?%{r}(%{W}%n*%f%t%{r})%{w}%?%+Lw%?%= %{g}][%{B} %m-%d %{W} %c %{g}]' I've also did a little digging and found out if I revert this commit http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/screen.git/commit/?id=c500982 the colors are ok. See the attached pictures for good/bad cases. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed 30 Apr 2014 03:09:17 PM UTC Name: screen_color_bad.png Size: 5kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=31286> ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed 30 Apr 2014 03:09:17 PM UTC Name: screen_color_ok.png Size: 5kB By: None <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=31287> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?42247> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
