All, As many people on screen-users do, I miss (very much) not having screen regex support. It's a pretty big hole in screen support, both in functionality, and in its ability to mimic vim keybindings.
Is there any patched version of screen that supports a regex engine like PCRE, and that can have Ctrl-a <esc> ? search, say for [A-Z]+ or \d+ in the screen buffer? That, and only having one paste-able buffer via (ctrl-a ] ), vs say 52 paste-able buffers (via ctrl-a \ <bufferletter>) are my two major frustrations with screen.. Ed
