Details:

Hi,

When printing a Japanese kanji characters (maybe other unicode characters too)
to the screen one per line, the vertical portion of the printout shifts to the
right once per character.

The screenshot I attached will make this much clearer than what I can
describe.

I noticed this in Vim too.

My screen version: Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06 (I didn't see
this version in the dropdown)

Setup: Putty 0.61 on Win7 x64
