Hi,
we have this problem on at least two machines, starting screen without any
options causes it to hang after displaying the welcome text. "[Press Space or
Return to end.]"
Only way out is to kill it from another terminal.
If you start it with any options like
screen -t title
screen bash
screen -fn etc then it works no problem, it only hangs when there are no
options.
OS: 8.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE #0
screen version: Screen version 4.00.03 (FAU) 23-Oct-06
When I run truss I get lots of errors like this:
