I'm getting back into testing things with the MUSCLE stuff and I really
should have written a lot of things down from the last time I played
with it. I have a few general questions on my combination of gear. I've
been having to patch my GemPlus 410 reader drivers for pcsc to not
change speed with my Cyberflex Access cards. I tracked this down from
digging through the list archives. I was wondering if there is a better
way of doing this or newer GemPlus reader drivers or something I need to
do with my smartcard to prevent this problem.
Another thing I've run into are problems with XCard from the Cyberflex
Access Linux SDK. Is there a newer version of this for my version of
Tk/tcl (8.3). I massaged it into compiling and running, but there are
little errors here and there. I also had to coax it into finding my
reader since the new pcsc has a different naming system (I recall
reading that David updated it to handle multiple readers and channels
and whatnot for newer reader types and combinations and maybe usb
types). I could either use a better version of XCard or a better
alternative to toying with my smartcards. I may look into smartsh from
the smart sign project.
Finally, I'm going to write CITI about other compiles of mksolo for the
Cyberflex cards, but I was wondering if anyone has a build for libc6
handy so I don't have to wait.

Thanks for any help,
Stephen

PS: I also read in a previous e-mail that pscs is going to be
distributed in RPM. I have a couple spec files I've been using to build
them for a couple friends if you want them. I just have one for pcsc and
the gp_core gemplus drivers since that's what we're all using.
