Hi,

Thanks a lot! now it's working. portmap was not running ...

I would like to use my Towitoko Chipdrive for authentication purposes
and I was wondering if anybody knows any existing pam related software
which could
do this: read a 4k memory-card at login and use the info from the card
to log in as a specific user.

Is there any pgp plugin available for smart cards?

How could I start pcscserver from /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit? It gives me
this error:
invalid argument, unable to register
portmap was started before that successfully and after login pcscserver
works without problems.

Many thanks,
Petre
