Hi,

        The WWT parameter is a time-out value ( for T=0 protocol ). It is
the maximum time that the SmartCard must use between the sending of two
characters.
        This value is taken into account by the reader to set its time-out.
If the SmartCard is processing longer that this value indicates, the
communication fails. 

        This characteristic is sent by the card during the answer to reset
which is called ATR. All specific characteristics are indicated in this ATR.
