Hi Ar It would be better to utilize Matrix or another fediverse-compatible protocol. It provides similar functionality, without causing yourself and your peers to the injustices of communicating through proprietary server, proprietary non-standard protocol, for which the main official client is also non-free, as far as I am aware. In this context however, it is great to see that you are programming for discord. It is better than utilizing discord and not programming for it -- or writing discord chat bots whose code is not freely licensed. Thank you for your choice.
About Savannah requirements and eligibility: * To run LightBot and interact with it -- to provide it with input and read its output -- will this require the user to use a discord client? Is there a discord client that is freely licensed? (In the scenario that program 1 that requires the user to run a non-free program 2 in order for the user to be able to utilize program 1, program 1 is considered non-free.) Regards, Svetlana
