Hi Bob, Thanks for the reply. Yes, the URL is what I remember. What I also remember is an email that came daily to tell of the entries posted there. I am not clear on the communication reasoning in play. Posting all of the good news about GNU to respective news feeds is great. Aggregating them to this URL is even better. However, the option to have a collection sent by email makes sense to me. [1]https://planet.gnu.org/rss20.xml I just checked the RSS feed. It does not receive the entries from the 9th posted to [2]https://planet.gnu.org/. Something is off on the RSS side of the feed. Also, the absence of the email option means GNU is not communicating to the public as intended.

What is the status of activating the daily email of news feeds for GNU projects, please? [4]https://planet.gnu.org/ carries the news feed for all Savannah projects. In addition to other postings. Is that to which you are referring? That was dropped for a while after a previous migration in July 2016 but was then brought back (Thanks Sylvain!) in March 2018. It provides RSS and other feeds from that location. I am unaware of any previous news feed directly from Savannah itself. There are individual projects which have their own news feed. But I don't know a lot about a lot of things so if you have an example please point me to it. :-) I'll use this message to ask users about something else I have been thinking about and it is on this topic. In the time I have been working with Savannah the front page news feed has only ever been about Savannah itself. Which means when nothing is happening the front page is rather boring. And when things are happening it is almost always bad news! But it is a feature of the software forge to approve project news to the front page. And I think that might also send the news to this mailing list since I think all news posted to the front page is also sent here too. Is this something that Savannah users would like to see? To send appropriate and curated news from individual projects to the front page and also to this mailing list?
