== Description: ==
BookmarkFS is a FUSE-based pseudo-filesystem which provides an interface
to the bookmark data of web browsers.

Currently, the following browsers (and their derivatives) are supported:
- Firefox
- Chromium

Support for more applications (not necessarily web browsers) can be
implemented as loadable modules, without having to modify existing code.

BookmarkFS runs on GNU/Linux and FreeBSD (with caveats).
Porting to other operating systems may be considered in the future.

== Other Comments: ==
Current project status:

The software is mostly usable, but lacks test cases and user manual.
An alpha version will be released soon after these issues are dealt with.
