Hugh - public domain is fine for Savannah. The requirement is, essentially,
compatibility with GPLv3-or-later, and pd is that. Beyond that, the choice is
up to the author(s), regardless of whether any given files or the project as a
whole are or are not "trivial" for copyright purposes.
