Hi, Pasha! It's great talking to you again after all these years. I
use the opportunity to thank you wholeheartedly for the *brilliant*
job you've been doing for our common projects during my (unsigned long
long) absence. The square world of GNUstep sucked me in and there's
no way out, it seems. I plan to return and will return (hopefully
soon) as your assistant.

I guess it is only reproducible from my location and my ISP, or a
certain set of combinations of location + ISP. JFTR, there are no
problems from another machine in my city but connected to the Internet
via a different ISP. I am still having the same problem on my main
workstation as I type this message.

I suppose you should do nothing becase there's nothing to do.

I'm not sure if it helps analyzing the problem, but I find it
interesting that "uscan --report-status" succeeds (this option checks
the latest version on the server so there is an actual connection)
while downloading the file fails.

I don't know the redirection logic but it sounds like this would help.

I didn't know this; thanks.

Oh, sorry for being so stupid... I even visited this URL before
composing my initial message. Got it from the Hungarian mirror.

Consider the issue closed; there are easy workarounds like using
another mirror or the "noredirect" URL.
