Follow-up Comment #7, sr#111026 (group administration): [comment #3 comment #3:] > Stefan, the workaround, in case you don't know, is to check the "Quiet SSH member shell" option on https://savannah.nongnu.org/my/admin/ ... it's under "Optional Features".
Thanks, Karl. I did this (for my own account) and it has the desired effect: when I do a `git pull` of the Emacs source code from Savannah, I no longer see the "AGPL notice: sv_membersh is part of Savane. [etc]" notice. The AGPL itself does not require this kind of notice, as far as I can tell, and I was surprised to see the message in my Git output. So I agree with Stefan and others that this notice shouldn't be a default part of Git output for people -- the majority of people who use Git with Savannah -- who haven't logged in to the Savannah web app to toggle the "Quiet SSH member shell" setting. I'm glad to have been able to solve this problem for myself, but I am also puzzled as to why anyone has to in the first place. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?111026> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.nongnu.org/
