IIRC, the sender field for anonymous users is localized. E.g., if the users
add a comment while savannah's web interface is set to French, the sender
appears as "anonyme" (instead of "anonymous") in the email header. Could it be
related to that?
(Anyway, should the notification mail "leak" the localization of anonymous
users? But that's off-topic to here.)
