Details:
I have been reported that confirmation emails from the mailing list servers
are not arriving when a new user is trying to subscribe without any notice.
I have tried to reproduce the error, trying to subscribe myself with another
gmail email address and the confirmation email is not arriving as the user
reported.
I have been able to subscribe the address from the administrative mailinglist
page but no welcome email has arrived.
Emails (confirmation and welcome) are not even in the spam folder so I guess
it is not being sent.
I have tested with gmail and with another domain, not hosted in gmail.
