Summary: bug tracker date format excessive Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: Stevan_White Submitted on: Mon 21 Aug 2017 01:11:17 PM CEST Category: Savannah trackers - bugs, tasks, etc. Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: stevan.wh...@gmail.com Operating System: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Longstanding annoyance: The 'Submittted on' date column of the bug tracker is formatted in full as e.g. Mon 21 Aug 2017 12:56:39 PM CEST The problem is, on small screens, this wide column causes wrapping of the bug items, for no good reason: the seconds, and the day of the week as well, are immaterial to me, and I think to other users too. Really I would be quite happy with the date alone, in abbreviated format mm/dd/yy or dd.mm.yy. As a header for the column, "submitted" would suffice. Maybe you could make it a preference, which format to use. Thanks! _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?109371> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
