Hello Savannah Hackers,

Something has happened to the routes to vcs0. It is unreachable from
outside the Boston network.

  root@havoc:~# nmap -F cvs.savannah.gnu.org

  Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2016-12-19 00:06 MST
Nmap scan report for cvs.savannah.gnu.org (208.118.235.201)
  Host is up (0.061s latency).
  rDNS record for 208.118.235.201: vcs0.savannah.gnu.org
All 100 scanned ports on cvs.savannah.gnu.org (208.118.235.201) are
  filtered

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 9.53 seconds

I can connect through the local system but not from any other
location. I verified that this is not fail2ban. This appears to be
outside of the system at the site router level. For comparison here
is the information from vcs.

  root@havoc:~# nmap -F vcs.savannah.gnu.org

  Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2016-12-19 00:07 MST
Nmap scan report for vcs.savannah.gnu.org (208.118.235.72)
  Host is up (0.061s latency).
  Not shown: 96 filtered ports
  PORT STATE SERVICE
  22/tcp open ssh
  80/tcp open http
  443/tcp closed https
  873/tcp open rsync

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 4.04 seconds

To mitigate this I have switched the DNS for cvs back to the old
server just to mitigate this for the moment. I will file a ticket
with sysadmin.

Bob
