Details:

Hi,
I'm a professional optical designer, I'm interested to understand how this
software works and help if possible with the development on the user side
mainly.

I have problems with the installation. At the command make I get back

test_rendering.cc:200:10: error:‘sleep’ was not declared in this scope
sleep(5);

I'm running  Ubuntu 14.04

In the help repository there is no answer to this.
Please help me if you can.

In attachment the output from my ./configure and make check
My Ubuntu speaks Italian therefore there might be some (for you) weird word in
the make check output

Regards
G.
