Follow-up Comment #3, sr #109089 (project administration):
Check to see if you have a web browser plugin installed now that is
automatically converting http to https such as BetterPrivacy or similar that
is doing this for the cgit pages. I suspect something of that sort in your
browser is what has caused the change.
