hi kai - i haven't been able to find the right logs yet, it seems. i will keep
trying.
however, i do have one wild speculation: a friend's gmail account suddenly
seemed to stop receiving some messages, for no apparent reason. we eventually
discovered that google had invented an "important" folder and decided on its
own to start putting mail that it deemed important there. so they didn't show
up in the normal google inbox. so ... couldn't hurt to take a quick look and
see if the mails are there -- or in the spam filters of course, but i suppose
you already checked that.
