Summary: Unable to push to Git Repository Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: darnir Submitted on: Tue 20 Jan 2015 10:32:50 PM IST Category: Source code repositories - developer access Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 4 - Important Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: dar...@gmail.com Operating System: GNU/Linux Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: I'm trying to push some code changes to the git repository for GNU Wget hosted on Savannah. However, the `git push` command errors out with the following text: ``` Counting objects: 11, done. Delta compression using up to 4 threads. Compressing objects: 100% (11/11), done. Writing objects: 100% (11/11), 1.62 KiB | 0 bytes/s, done. Total 11 (delta 10), reused 0 (delta 0) error: unpack failed: unpack-objects abnormal exit To git://git.savannah.gnu.org/wget.git ! [remote rejected] master -> master (n/a (unpacker error)) error: failed to push some refs to 'git://git.savannah.gnu.org/wget.git' ``` I tried `git repack` to see of my local repository was corrupt. I even created a fresh clone of the repository and tried to push the changes from there. However, I always encounter the same error. With this issue around, it is very difficult for us to update our codebase, so it would be great if it can be resolved at the earliest. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?108731> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
