Summary: non-fast-forward updates on gnu-social-mode Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: sergiodj Submitted on: Mon 21 Jul 2014 08:53:26 PM BRT Category: Developer Source Code Repositories Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Operating System: GNU/Linux Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Hi there, A new member of the gnu-social-mode project has made a mistake and pushed a wrong commit to the master branch of the repository. I tried removing it by either reseting the HEAD to the previous commit and pushing it (denied; non-fast-forward push), or removing the remote master branch and pushing my local, updated master (denied too). I would like to ask that you help me find a solution for this. I wouldn't mind having non-fast-forward pushes enabled in the repository (I already instructed the member to not do the mistake again), but if you already have a better solution in mind, I'd appreciate to hear. Thanks! _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?108617> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
