Dear list,

I have an issue similar to [1], but unfortunately
there is no public documentation about how [1] has
been solved in the end.

I'm the maintainer of the mingw-cross-env project,
and I'd like to host our project website somewhere
else. So I need to install the respective HTTP
redirects:

http://mingw-cross-env.nongnu.org/* -> http://mxe.cc/*

and

http://www.nongnu.org/mingw-cross-env/* -> http://mxe.cc/*

I'd like to either provide an .htaccess file, or to
upload a PHP script, or whatever is needed to get
this done.

Of course, I could also upload an index.html containing
a meta-refresh tag, but I consider this to be the
last resort. :-)

What's the easiest/cleanest way to accomplish that
on the Savannah webserver?

Regards,
Volker
