Indeed (tho when creating the branch, rather than the repository).
And as you prompted me to dig deeper, I discovered that I can even
change it easily after the fact with "bzr config".
Great! So I still need savannah's help to enable the "mail commit messages"
on a branch, but at least I can (un)set append_revisions_only on my own.
