Hi Simon -- renaming project identifiers is possible but not easy. The
documentation (mainly directed to sv admins) at
http://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/RenamingProjectGroup is filled with so
many caveats and warnings about having to know everything that I have never
dared do it myself.
In your case, can you come up with a different meaning for the original
initials :)?
