Summary: Link to cancel an account email change does not work Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: hashproduct Submitted on: Wed 24 Feb 2010 06:54:00 PM EST Category: Savannah website Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 2 - Minor Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Operating System: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: The link sent by Savannah to cancel an account email change does not work; it generates a broken form and gives warnings about undefined variables. For example: https://savannah.nongnu.org/my/admin/change.php?item=email&confirm_hash=d9c352bd1ceaee9e&step=discard Looking at the code <http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/savane-cleanup.git/tree/frontend/php/my/admin/change.php>, there is code to accept form submissions for the "discard" step but not to generate the form in the first place. The "discard" step needs to be split into two steps, like "confirm" and "confirm2". A simple workaround is to change the "discard" in the original link to "confirm" and then change the hidden field of the generated form from "confirm2" to "discard" with a tool such as Firebug. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?107283> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
