For example, look at http://web.cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/?root=www
This gives the checkout command:
cvs -d:pserver:anonym...@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/sources/www co .
but this checks out the sources, not the web pages; it should be:
cvs -d:pserver:anonym...@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/web/www co .
