Summary: Using CVS for files with Character ASCII Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: None Submitted on: Monday 09/06/08 at 14:32 UTC Category: Anonymous CVS Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 3 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Operating System: GNU/Linux Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Hi, I'm using CVS to control a set of text files. Some of these files have the character SUB (ctl-Z, Hex-> 1A, Unicode->SUB). Then, when I add the file into the repository and after that I check out the module, the text of the file is removed from the character "SUB" to the final of the file. What could I do to resolve this? If I consider the file as a binary file, it works, but I can not consider these files as binary because I need to see the differences between two versions. The file is attached. Thank you for your attention.
