Update of sr #106141 (project administration): Status: None => Done Open/Closed: Open => Closed
_______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: Hi, Sorry for the delay, I removed the file. "We have our own FTP server, and probably should use ftp.gnu.org as well, but users frequently want to download releases using HTTP." Note that ftp.gnu.org provides HTTP access. "Storing the releases in CVS makes it easy to synchronize between a few HTTP mirrors." As I mentioned this is not how we designed the service. CVS is not exactly suited for that job - managing 300MB of binary data, that is. Instead, you could use something like "wget --mirror", or use the Savannah download area which supports rsync. You could also ask [EMAIL PROTECTED] about enabling rsync access from ftp.gnu.org for projects that manage mirrors themselves. Let us know if you need our assistance during the migration. Regards. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?106141> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
