Thanks a lot for an URL. I was searching for git support in "main" Savane,
i.e. at https://gna.org/projects/savane

I don't suppose Git support is documented in the same way as Subversion,
CVS and GNU Arch (who uses GNU Arch now, instead for example Bazaar-NG)?

P.S. Because Savane is written mainly in PHP, with only bits of Perl
from what I've checked (correct me if I'm wrong), I wonder if it wouldn't
be better instead of using [standalone] gitweb for web interface one of
the git-php interfaces:
  http://code.google.com/p/git-php/
  http://people.proekspert.ee/peeter/git/git.php
(see http://git.or.cz/gitwiki/InterfacesFrontendsAndTools), and try to
embed it more in Savane. Just a thought...
