When you are a project admin, you can ask Savane to create mailing lists for your projet. The cron will launch /usr/bin/newlist which itself will SSH to lists.gnu.org and launch savannah_wrapper.sh.
The system impose a '$PROJECT-.*' naming convention which does not fit with the GNU one (bug-*), so for those lists you still need to 1) create them normally with mycreate_list.pl 2) attach them to the project using sv:infra/maintenance/ml.pl (which a Savannah Hacker needs to do). -- Sylvain On Thu, Nov 02, 2006 at 07:42:50PM -0600, Karl Berry wrote: > So I went to create a new mailing list (bug-gzip, to replace the alias > to Jean-loup that was in the aliases file), and ran mycreate_list.pl to > do it.
