Follow-up Comment #2, sr #105429 (project administration): OH SWEET I JUST FIGRUED IT OUT! ^_^
The problem was I was running putty.exe to make the SSH connection, and then using TortoiseCVS for the update, putting in the putty session name instead of the cvs hostname. (As the UserGuide_en.chm Versain 1.8.0 suggests doing) When trying that' both putty.exe and TortoiseCVS just hang after the authentication screen. I've completely cut out using putty.exe and now just use pageant.exe and TortoiseCVS checks out fine. Thanks for the quick reply Beuc! PS, why do you call it "Woe"? Is it because that's what you get from using it? Hehe. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitem&item_id=105429> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers
