Summary: Tarball of MH-E CVS repository Project: Savannah Administration Submitted by: wohler Submitted on: Tue 03/07/06 at 17:15 Category: Developer CVS Priority: 5 - Normal Severity: 1 - Wish Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Platform Version: None Open/Closed: Open _______________________________________________________ Details: Does Savannah have the equivalent of SourceForge's nightly tarballs as documented here? http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=29894&group_id=1#nightly_tarballs For example, I used to back up the MH-E CVS files with wget -q http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cvstarballs/mh-e-cvsroot.tar.bz2 so I'd have a backup of the CVS files in case something Really Bad Happened at SourceForge or in the unlikely case that I wanted to move the repository. I'd like to do the same thing now that I'm now using Savannah as the primary CVS repository for MH-E. One complication is MH-E is a part of Emacs. I suspect that both you and I would not appreciate my downloading a tarball of the Emacs CVS repository every night. I'd be prepared to create a filelist and/or a script to produce the tarball if you'd be willing to cron it. Please let me know if you already have such a mechanism in place, or whether you'd be willing to entertain it. Thanks! _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailitem&item_id=105217> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Savannah-help-public mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers
