The instructions in the FAQ are meant for GNU/Linux users. The ssk-keygen command needs to be executed on your computer, not at Savannah. If you want to use MS Woe, I suggest you use Cygwin, so you get a somewhat compatible interface.
If you insist on using Pageant, you'll need to check its documentation; I think PuTTY has a feature to create a pair of SSH keys, and another feature to export the public key using the OpenSSH format, which we use. I don't have a Woe box here, so I can't give you more precisions right now :/ -- Sylvain On Sun, Oct 30, 2005 at 12:20:23PM +0100, Erik Gravgaard wrote: > I have read the FAQ and the Troubleshootings, but I am still stuck. > > I have tried to do all it says, but without luck. > > When I try to access and do this: > > > You can simply setup your SSH key by typing in a terminal: > > ssh-keygen -t dsa > > I cannot log in so that I can type it. > > I would like to use Putty and Putty Pageant - and I have installed > TortoiseCVS, where I also have tried to connect - but with no luck. > > I have used TortoiseCVS to access a CVS, we have on our own devel-server - > No Problem.
