But My goal is to help this project to increase. Thus, having the same project under 2 licenses will be confusing. Does this permission to you pre-date his adoption of the Common Creative License? If so you may still have rights to release your instance of the code under the GPL. In the meantime, if having the files hosted on Savannah make you uncomfortable you can delete the files via CVS.
