Category: Software Status: Open Priority: 5 Summary: Deleting comments in bug reports? By: ehood Date: Thu 10/02/2003 at 11:15 Logged In: YES user_id=1225 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030807 Galeon/1.3.8 Someone entered in "spam-like" information in one of my closed bugs, https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=4719&group_id=1968 Along with uploading a GIF image. I am able to delete the GIF image, but not the comments (which appear to be in Spanish or some other Latin-based language). It would be nice for project administrators to have the ability to delete comments, and possible other changes, to a bug report in order to remove spam or other malicious changes. Maybe some form of "roll-back" feature to undo changes made by a malicious party. A related feature would be the ability to lock a bug entry (like after it has been closed) to avoid it being edited, unless changes are made by a project administrator. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailsupport&support_id=102497&group_id=11 _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Savannah-hackers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers
