Jonathan Walther <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> described the package as follows:
License: x11
Other License:
Package: Xouvert
System name: xouvert
Type: non-GNU

Description:
A developement branch of the Xfree86 source tree. It's purpose is to provide wide
testing and integration for third party patches, and to test and stabilize innovative
new ideas before submission to the main Xfree86 branch.

Other Software Required:
arch is Tom Lord's replacement for CVS, which makes Xouvert possible. sftp support is
needed to allow people to commit to the arch repository.

Other Comments:
rms told me Xouvert isn't suitable for GNU at this time because of the X11 license.
Please note that the "ouvert" (open) in Xouvert refers to the openness and democratic
transparency of the Xouvert developement process, not to "Open Source".
