Göran Weinholt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: giFTcurs
System name: giftcurs
Type: non-GNU

Description:
giFTcurs is a frontend to giFT, http://giftproject.org/.
It uses ncurses to display an easy-to-use interface that
allows the user to control giFT. giFT is a daemon connected
to one or more filesharing networks. Because of its stability,
power, ease of use, etc. it is the recommended frontend to giFT.
It is written in C and uses gettext for i18n.
This project started late in the year 2001, so there have been
a number of releases. The current version is 0.5.7, which you
can get here: http://fnord.csbnet.se/giftcurs/
The current homepage is at http://giftcurs.sf.net/.
giFTcurs is licensed under GPLv2. It will always be Free
software.

The project is currently hosted on sourceforge, but their
increasing use of non-free software and increasingly bad
service have made us look for better alternatives.

Other Software Required:
giFT - http://giftproject.org/. It is licensed under the GPL.
It is my hope that G-Lib 2 is available on all free operating systems. The version
currently in CVS uses glib2.
