I've modified Savannah web UI and /etc/libnss-mysql.cfg at VCS servers so that * VCS servers are aware of all Savannah users whose uidNumber has been assigned (previously, only members of active groups were exposed), and * uidNumber is assigned in web UI on any account activity that makes the account non-idle like a comment or a submission of a new item in any tracker (previously, it was only assigned when the user joined any active group). In fact, no adding to any placeholder group was needed. Currently, we do have a private group 'svusers' in the database, and it serves as the 'initial' group for all Savannah users; however, `getent svusers` shows no members at VCS servers.
