Hi Savannah Hackers,

I'd like to help with Savannah hacking!

My Savannah username is 'hjek'. My background in free software is that I use it
and promote it. I have been running free software workshops and after school
clubs.
At the moment I am reverse engineering the page description language for
Risograph duplicators, using the Racket language. I hope to have a CUPS filter
and PPD ready this year. (Perhaps that could be hosted on Savannah on day.)

The project IceCat Update Notifier (https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?14332) is
not assigned to anyone yet, so here my evaluation draft:

* No dependence on nonfree software:
    OK (The dependencies are listed and are all free.)
* Project naming:
    OK (The project name is descriptive.)
* No nonfree formats:
    OK (No nonfree formats.)
* Advertisements:
    OK (No advertisements.)
* Speaking about free software:
    OK ("[...] the script will be part of IceCat for Trisquel GNU/Linux.")
* Free software licenses:
    OK (Apache License, Version 2.0 is a free license)
* Valid copyright notice and licensing information:
    OK ("Copyright 2017 David Hedlund")

I think this project should be approved for hosting on Savannah.

Regards,
Pelle Hjek
Hi Savannah Hackers

PS: There's a link to gna.org in the sidebar on under 'Related forges', but Gna
has shut down (See https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=13559215 ).
