That script is in the ranger source repository. I think that makes ranger the owner of that script. I would write the ranger mailing list first and see what they say about it. If that fails then I would submit an issue into their bug tracker. I browsed the ranger bug tickets and it appears that they are recently active and getting support. But myself I always like to communicate on the mailing list first and see how they would like to handle something before submitting a ticket. Bob
