I'm writting this to express my sincere thanks to the current and former Savannah hackers for their work and their community spirit. I began volunteering in submission evaluations in late 2009 after I observed the lack of work in this area and the GNU project request for it (http://www.gnu.org/help/). It was very pleasing to find than the Savannah community was willing to accept my modest help as a then stranger and promptly I became an official member of the staff after an invitation I couldn't reject. That's something very good, there aren't that much groups willing to blur the maybe artificial, barrier between insiders and outsiders. By doing so, we embrace the community and pass on part of the spirit of free software and the essence of hacking. Keep it up!.
