I am trying to use the SanedeamonTutorial-Community Help Wiki. I get as far as step 4 Cleanup Tasks (systemd) but then I get this. Failed to execute operation: Invalid argument after sudo systemctl enable saned.socket.
I then carry on & configure the client but when trying to use Simple Scan the scanner scans but with no results followed by Simple Scan is not responding message. I am using Linux Lubuntu 16.04 on both server & client. Printer is HP Deskjet 1050-j410 All-in one connected by usb to server. Printing from client works fine. martyn@martyn-M830LU:~$ systemctl status saned.socket ● saned.socket - saned incoming socket Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/saned.socket; bad; vendor preset: enabled Active: active (listening) since Fri 2016-10-21 11:56:15 BST; 1h 42min ago Listen: [::]:6566 (Stream) Accepted: 1; Connected: 1 Oct 21 11:56:15 martyn-M830LU systemd[1]: Listening on saned incoming socket.
