1. Compared to the original driver in Windows Vista the scanner is extremely slow. A scan grey 300 dpi takes 6s with Vista but 23s with SimpleScan and Xubuntu 15.04. 2. Scan quality is visibly worse with SimpleScan. I can provide files if needed.
