Hi Yannick,

Many thanks for your report.

The white => greyish issue comes from the default gama table.

If your'e using xsane, you can set gamma, brightness and contrast. You
can directly see the results in the preview window.

In simlescan you can set brightness and contrast in the preferences menu.

Maybe this helps.
