Hey Louis,

a little update:
I found out that metasploid and apparmor where active on this laptop. I removed both applications, but it doesn't helped. Also connection both (Laptop and Scanner) by LAN Cable doesnt solved the issue.

Hey Louis,

i am using ubuntu 14.04 and as far as I know I don't have a "firewall" installed. The scanner is connected by LAN Cable and my Laptop is connected by Wifi.

Hi!

This is strange - When I try to capture packets with wireshark it is
really hard to reproduce the
error. It looks like I have to hold an open connection between the
scanner and the pc for scanning. Could that be true?
Sounds lie a firewall problem? Will look into this more in a few days
