Hi, I'm in the need of a scanner, which offers the possibility to scan with the lamp switched off (using an external light source for scanning). I bought a HP G4050 as was suggested on this mailing list.
When I use the sane-genesys backend with this scanner, the "--lamp-off-scan" option is unrecognized (even with the cvs version). Can anyone confirm, that this scanner is/will be able to scan with the lamp switched off? Cheers, Christian
