If there is a human out there? I am completely new on Lynex/Ubuntu and the whiz who set me up is away for Christmas.
My scanner (HP Scanjet G3110) was doing all right all right on Xsane and I was 'getting used to it'. Somehow Xsane has decided that it is only to scan a 2.5x2inch window instead of the whole plate. I can't find out how to tell it to look for the larger image, nor can I find where Ubuntu has put the scanner or Xsane to see if there's an adjustment in there. Help, please ... David Lovett
