Hi, I wrote a small patch for the "pixma" backend to support Canon multi-function copiers imageRunner 1020/1024/1025 with USB PID 0x26e6 and successfully tested it on an iR 1024A.
The only major difference from other MFxxxx models seems to be that it requires a call to abort_session() after each page.
