If Twain28 does not have access to a Windows PC, a similar tool, USB Prober, is available for Mac OS X, as part of the Xcode developer tools, although Apple has changed access to the tools such that one must register (for free) as a Mac developer first. Register as a Mac developer here: http://developer.apple.com/programs/register/ Once you are registered, download Xcode here: https://developer.apple.com/mac/scripts/downloader.php?path=/iphone/iphone_sdk_3.2__final/xcode_3.2.2_and_iphone_sdk_3.2_final.dmg And, if necessary, download the appropriate IOUSBFamily Log release here: http://connect.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MemberSite.woa/wa/downloads Assuming a default install of Xcode, USB Prober is here: file:///Developer/Applications/Utilities/USB%20Prober.app Peter ----- Peter Schoenrank mailto: peter at schoenrank.ca phone: +1.250.655.6753
